Habitat: Bogs, fens, swamps (all types), tidal freshwater marshes, floodplain forests, and most other natural wetlands; more characteristic of moist to wet (often alluvial) meadows, clearings, beaver marshes, ditches, and other disturbed wetlands. Common throughout Virginia
